Shambala this afternoon announced the final tickets for this summer’s festival have now been sold! As happened in early 2020, before the pandemic forced the festival to take a two-year break, all other tickets to the festival sold out in late January.
Since then, the only way to bag yourself a ticket has been to arrive on a guided bike ride from Bristol, Brighton, London or Sheffield, with camping along the way included – but after a week of summer weather, the final cycling tickets for 2022 have now been sold!
If you’ve got your heart set on attending, it’s well worth considering volunteering. In many cases you can apply with your friends and in every case, you’re guaranteed to make friends while you’re there! Shambala are still taking applications for their bars team, recycling crew and Oxfam stewards so head over to their Get Involved page to find out more.
Your other hope is to frantically refresh their official The Ticket Sellers page every day, as existing ticket holders are able to return and refund their tickets until four weeks before the festival. When they do, they’ll become available to buy officially until someone else snaps them up. All tickets are printed with the customer’s name which must match their ID on entry, so don’t be tempted to buy tickets on social media or from third-party websites – they won’t be valid for entry.
Organisers also revealed today when they’ll announce the Shambala 2022 line-up – and it’s coming a little later than usual this year on the summer solstice. We’ve googled it so you don’t have to and can confirm that’ll be Tuesday 21st June.
Shambala were due to hold their 20th-anniversary event in 2020, so after being forced to hold off for two years, we’re sure it’ll be an absolutely incredible party this summer. Pre-covid, Shambala well routinely selling out earlier and earlier each year, and while we can’t wait for the main event to return, they did manage to put on a reduced-size Shambino festival for 5,000 revellers last summer.

This sunshine must have got you lot dreaming of summer, as just like that, the very last handful of cycling packages have been snaffled up, meaning Shambala 2022 is a sell out! An absolutely huge thank you to every single one of you who will be celebrating our 20th birthday with us.
“Look out for our music line up dropping on the Summer solstice (a little later than usual, we’re taking our time this year to get it just so… but believe us, it’s going to be more than worth the wait..)
“Missed the boat on tickets? If you’d be up for volunteering, our bars team, Oxfam stewards and recycling crew are taking applications now – find out more and apply here.
“Remember, we also offer refunds, so it’s worth keeping a keen eye on our ticket page and you may just get lucky and bag a returned ticket.
“ONLY tickets bought from The Ticket Sellers are valid for entry and they MUST match your ID on arrival. Please, please don’t waste your hard earned dosh on sketchy tickets from third party/tout sites, as you’ll likely be turned away at the gates. Likewise, please do not be tempted to buy from strangers online – there’s heaps of scammers about at the moment and our refund policy means you have reason to be suspicious of anyone looking to sell their tickets rather than just claim a refund.
