Shindig Festival (23 – 28th May 2024) has revealed the eagerly-awaited dress up theme: Magical Creatures.
The Shindig crowd take this opportunity to adorn sparkles, strut flamboyantly and flutter around the beautiful site very seriously. Held on the beautiful Dillington Estate, Ilminster in Somerset, the event will be celebrating its tenth birthday in style.
Who knows where imaginations will stretch…Maybe pink feathers and dark secrets: flamingocrow, iridescent scuttling: Dragonfly Mouse? Would you dare to embrace a Hedgehogbear? Fly high in the nightsky with Unicornowl! Or perhaps display your Peacocksquirrel splendour. It’s all to play for!
Not only that, Shindig was recommended by Emily Eavis, Glastonbury organiser, as a good alternative to those who didn’t manage to get tickets.
The full line up for 2024 will be announced in January.
Si Clarke, Festival Director says: “As well as brand new headliners, we’re bringing back some of the classic, much-loved acts from over the last 10 years. We’ll have some of the UK’s best art installations across the festival, loads to do for families, not to mention circus and cabaret shows. Music lovers, it’s not a year to miss.”
