Supergrass have announced an extra London headline show for 2027, adding a second night at the O2 Forum Kentish Town on Saturday 8th May.
The newly confirmed date sits alongside the Oxford band’s already announced UK headline run, taking the tour to 10 shows across April and May. After their I Should Coco anniversary tour in 2025, Gaz Coombes says the next live shows will mix hits with deeper cuts.
Tickets for every date go on general sale at 10am on Friday 4th September. Tickets are available here.
The run now covers Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, London, Bristol and Portsmouth, with the two Kentish Town nights landing on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th May.
Speaking about the tour, Gaz Coombes said: “We’re excited to get back into it next year. Last time around was all about ‘I Should Coco’ so for the next live shows we’re going to have some fun going through the records, pulling out even more of them hits & deep cuts for your ears. Bring on Spring 27!”
Supergrass formed in Oxford in 1993 and remain one of Britain’s most celebrated live bands. Across six studio albums they produced a string of enduring tracks, including ‘Alright’, ‘Caught By The Fuzz’, ‘Mansize Rooster’, ‘Lenny’, ‘Going Out’, ‘Richard III’, ‘Sun Hits The Sky’, ‘Pumping On Your Stereo’, ‘Moving’ and ‘Grace’.
Debut album I Should Coco reached Number 1 in the UK and has sold more than a million copies worldwide. Five further studio records followed: In It For The Money, Supergrass, Life On Other Planets, Road To Rouen and Diamond Hoo Ha.
The band have a BRIT Award and an Ivor Novello Award to their name, plus six Top 10 albums and 10 Top 20 singles. After splitting in 2010, they reunited in 2019 for a hugely successful world tour.
