The Human League have announced a major outdoor performance at Warrington’s Victoria Park for the May Bank Holiday weekend next year. The iconic synth-pop group will take to the stage on Friday, 22nd May 2026, bringing their catalogue of classic hits to the North West.
Joining them for this special occasion are fellow 80s legends ABC, who have been confirmed as very special guests for the event. Tickets for the show will be available starting this Friday, 28th November 2025, at 10am via www.gigsandtours.com.
This newly announced Warrington date marks the first of the group’s outdoor summer shows with ABC. The two acts are also scheduled to perform together later in the summer at Sounds of the City in Leeds’ iconic Millennium Square on Friday, 10th July 2026, a show which is already on sale.
For over four decades, The Human League have remained a landmark act in the British music scene. Since forming in 1978, they have released nine studio albums, including the multi-platinum-selling DARE, and sold more than 30 million records worldwide. Their unapologetically radical songwriting and innovative style have influenced generations of fans, fashion, and club culture across Europe, the UK, and the US.
Very special guests ABC are best known for their debut masterpiece The Lexicon of Love, which skyrocketed to number one on the charts. Produced by the legendary Trevor Horn, it is frequently voted as one of the best British albums of the decade. Frontman Martin Fry continues to demonstrate his enduring songwriting and stagecraft more than 40 years later, having released eight studio albums and numerous worldwide hits.
