Boomtown: Chapter 9 as they would prefer it to be called, has sold out of tickets in the last week for the ninth year running. The festival, which expands year on year, now boasts a 60,000 capacity. Boomtown are also introducing some cutting edge drugs safety measures this year, following a small but significant number of deaths in previous years.
Boomtown aims to offer non-judgemental facts and advice to festival-goers before the event, and will also be offering onsite drugs content testing this year, for the first time at this event.
The festival takes place over the weekend of 10th August, and features sets from Cypress Hill, The Specials, and Sublime.
