Boomtown has unveiled the second phase of its line-up for the 2026 festival, adding over 50 new artists to an already stacked bill. The immersive festival, which returns to the Matterley Estate in Hampshire from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th August 2026, has confirmed major new additions including acclaimed poet Kae Tempest, garage icon DJ EZ, and French house sensation Folamour. With the festival confirming that over 90% of tickets have already sold out, this latest announcement adds urgency for fans hoping to experience ‘Chapter 5: Radical Redesign’.
This new wave of artists reinforces the festival’s reputation for genre-spanning diversity, joining previously announced headliners such as Skrillex, Four Tet, Faithless, Madness, and Scissor Sisters. Alongside the individual artist announcements, Boomtown has revealed several significant stage takeovers. These include a celebration of jungle history with ’20 Years of Rupture’, a nod to 90s rave culture with ‘Fantazia Into The Woods’, and a showcase of sound system culture via ‘David Rodigan pres. Ram Jam’, featuring guests D Double E, Irah, and Hollie Cook.
The dance music offering has been significantly bolstered across the spectrum. UK garage legend DJ EZ leads the charge, alongside a special DJ set from sonic shapeshifter SBTRKT. Drum and bass fans can look forward to sets from A.M.C ft. Phantom, Alix Perez, S.P.Y, and a back-to-back performance from Kasra and Samurai Breaks. House and techno enthusiasts will be served by groove-led selections from Folamour, boundary-pushing techno from VTSS and Azyr, and forward-facing energy from Ross From Friends B2B Effy and Eats Everything B2B TSHA.
Beyond the electronic spheres, the live music programming continues to expand with eclectic and alternative talent. Spoken word artist Kae Tempest joins the bill alongside politically charged voices like Hak Baker and KiLLOWEN. The festival’s penchant for theatrical and high-energy performances is represented by new additions Peaches, Lynks, and Henge. Notably, rising star Rose Gray—currently on the BRIT Awards Critics’ Choice Shortlist for 2026—has also been confirmed, alongside punk outfits Panic Shack and The Skinner Brothers.
Boomtown’s Creative Director, Mair Morel, provided insight into this year’s theme, ‘Radical Redesign’, describing it as “an invitation to rethink how we live, connect and create.” The concept aims to explore reconnection with music, community, and nature, following the festival’s recent double victory at the UK Festival Awards 2025, where it claimed both ‘Large Festival of the Year’ and ‘Tech Innovation of the Year’.
Demand for the 2026 edition is reportedly breaking records for the 66,000-capacity event. With Wednesday entry tickets already sold out, remaining options are limited. The festival is urging prospective attendees to secure their spot quickly to avoid disappointment for what promises to be the most ambitious chapter in its 17-year history.
