Foo Fighters have officially announced their ‘Take Cover Tour’ for 2026, confirming two massive stadium shows at Liverpool’s Anfield on Thursday, 25th and Saturday, 27th June. These will be the American rock giants’ only UK stadium appearances in 2026, making them one of the summer’s most anticipated gigs. Tickets are set to go on general sale at 10 am on Friday, 14th November.
The announcement confirms the widespread speculation that reached fever pitch on Sunday. The rumours began after concert promoters GigsandTours posted a cryptic image showing the letters “FF” spelled out in the seats of Anfield’s famous Kop stand. The speculation was later all but confirmed when the band themselves shared the post on their official Instagram story.
Tickets for both Anfield dates will be available from 10 am on Friday, 14th November. Presales begin on Wednesday 12th November. The concert on Thursday, 25th June will be opened by Inhaler and Otoboke Beaver, while the show on Saturday, 27th June will feature support from Royel Otis and Die Spitz.
The two Liverpool dates are part of a wider European leg of the ‘Take Cover Tour’, which follows the release of the band’s incendiary new single, ‘Asking for a Friend’. The tour will see Dave Grohl and his bandmates play in 10 different countries, starting in Oslo on June 10th and finishing at the NOS Alive Festival in Portugal on July 10th. It marks the band’s first European and UK tour since their triumphant ‘Everything or Nothing at All Tour’ in 2024.
