Adidas and Factory International have announced the return of Originals Creator Network North, a six-month development programme for 20 emerging creatives from Manchester and Greater Manchester. Applications are now open for photographers, videographers, designers, content creators and stylists aged 18-30 with under one year of paid experience.
The programme, which first launched in 2024, provides underrepresented young talent with industry-led masterclasses, mentorship, coaching and networking opportunities at Aviva Studios. Participants will receive a £600 bursary and work collaboratively to develop a final creative showcase at the landmark cultural venue.
Over the six months, successful applicants will learn how to respond to real creative briefs whilst working closely with industry professionals. The initiative builds on the success of Originals Creator Network South, which was founded in London in 2022 to support underrepresented talent in the UK’s creative scene.
Scott McVittie, Chief Commercial Officer at Factory International, said the programme reflects a shared commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for emerging creative talent in the region. He emphasised that this year’s iteration has a stronger focus on access, training, and providing young creatives with the time and space needed to develop their voice, skills and confidence.
“At Factory International, we see how sustained programmes like OCNN North can play a real role in shaping careers and strengthening the creative sector as a whole,” McVittie added.
The deadline to apply is Sunday 22 February 2026. Further information about the programme and application details are available on the Factory International website.
