Pepsi MAX presents Creamfields has revealed the full details of its reimagined Downtown village for 2026, returning bigger, bolder and more ambitious than ever at the festival’s home in Daresbury, Cheshire from 27–30 August.
Downtown debuted at the 2025 edition as a multi-zone sports and entertainment hub, and this year it evolves into a full-scale destination in its own right, combining fitness, wellness, sport and interactive entertainment under one roof across the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The most talked-about new addition is also a UK festival first: padel courts. Delivered in association with Ignite Padel, two specially designed courts will give festivalgoers the chance to try the world’s fastest-growing racket sport between sets. “It’s a powerful opportunity to introduce the sport through new avenues, reaching an audience who may be discovering padel for the very first time,” said Ignite Padel in an official statement.
Ball Park is also home to Chase The Bull, a brand new high-energy darts challenge complete with a Darts League format and a competitive atmosphere inspired by iconic showdowns. Crazy Golf returns too, now doubled in size following its popularity last year. And the Creamfields Football Tournament is back and bigger than ever — after receiving over 200 team applications in 2025, matches will take place across multiple pitches each day, with teams able to submit their applications now at www.creamfields.com/downtown.
Over on the Sunrise Strip, the Creamfields Gymnasium makes a triumphant return following overwhelming demand at last year’s festival. For 2026, the gym has been significantly expanded with upgraded equipment, including multi press stations, leg press machines, lat pulldowns, SkiErgs and preacher curl stations, alongside a full programme of daily fitness challenges and a dedicated training team on site throughout the weekend.
Wellness Corner returns, this time hosted by Hot Curl, bringing their signature blend of Pilates and disco energy to the festival. Alongside Pilates, festivalgoers can take part in yoga, meditation and sound baths, with sessions designed to suit all fitness levels. Also on Sunrise Strip is Sensory Corner, a calm, inclusive retreat space with jigsaws, colouring activities, beanbags and deckchairs, staffed by the Blink Team throughout the weekend.
Electric Avenue is back as Downtown’s entertainment hub, featuring the ever-popular Bingo Bango “all about HOUSE” takeover, Mass Karaoke, the DJ Academy, and The Wakey Wakey Creamfields Quiz. The Inflatable Church and Indoor Arcade make their return, while Pamper Street gets a fresh new look for 2026, offering hair styling, face and body art, henna, barber services and eco-friendly glitter.
Elsewhere, The Boulevard food village will deliver a global spread of street food and plant-based options, with new 24/7 on-site vending machines available throughout the festival for quick and convenient access to essentials. The Market returns for retail therapy, stocking everything from vintage threads and handmade gems to Co-op essentials, while the Freshfields Spa is also confirmed to return with more details to follow.
Downtown sits alongside what Creamfields describes as an unrivalled line-up of over 250 acts, including UK festival exclusives Swedish House Mafia, Amelie Lens presents AURA and Disclosure (Live), live performances from Faithless and Underworld, and global legends Calvin Harris, Carl Cox and Martin Garrix.
