The Prodigy to headline Creamfields 2027

The Prodigy will headline Creamfields 2027, becoming the first act confirmed for the festival’s 30 year celebrations. They will close APEX on Saturday 28 August over the August Bank Holiday weekend in Daresbury, Cheshire.

It is a proper full circle booking. The band last played Creamfields in 2013 and are now heading back 14 years later to one of the world’s biggest indoor festival stages, with Cream HQ calling it a defining moment of the anniversary edition.

This year’s Cheshire rave was already being talked about as a standout, selling out to 80,000. Creamfields returns from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 August 2027 to mark three decades at the front of global electronic music.

Tickets are on sale now at creamfields.com, and more of the line-up is still to come.

Liam and Maxim have been taking the live show around the world for 35 years, joined by long standing members Leo Crabtree on drums and Rob Holliday on guitar. The current production leans on huge visuals, heavy bass and the same all out energy that made them one of the most influential electronic acts on the planet.

The Prodigy came out of Britain’s underground rave scene and tore down the walls between rave, electronic music and punk. The setlist still runs through era defining tracks like Firestarter, Breathe and Out of Space, plus multi platinum album The Fat of the Land, which also turns 30 in 2027.

They have stayed a major UK festival draw in recent years, having headlined Y Not Festival and Boardmasters in 2025. That live reputation is a big part of why this Creamfields return carries so much weight.

Creamfields started in 1998 and has grown into a global electronic meeting point. The 2027 edition is being framed as a celebration of the artists, fans and nights that built it, while looking at the next chapter.

With The Prodigy locked in as the first headliner, the countdown to 30 years of Creamfields is on.
