North Yorkshire’s independent Deer Shed Festival has announced the first wave of acts for its 2026 edition, with post-punk duo Sleaford Mods and comedy icon Stewart Lee leading the charge. Scheduled for 24th – 26th July 2026 at Baldersby Park, the festival has already sold over 60% of its tickets following a sold-out 15th anniversary event last summer. The 2026 edition will feature the immersive theme ‘Into The Labyrinth’, transforming the parkland into a world of curiosity featuring a colossal maze and escape-room-style challenges.
Joining Sleaford Mods at the top of the music bill are Manchester art-rockers Everything Everything, who return to mark ten years since their acclaimed album Get To Heaven, and New York disco-soul trio Say She She. The comedy lineup is equally strong, with the Big Top tent hosting Stewart Lee alongside the Adam Buxton Band, featuring the beloved broadcaster performing songs from his album Buckle Up with members of Metronomy.
The supporting musical cast includes Scottish indie-rock veterans The Twilight Sad and South London electro-punk outfit Fat Dog, who recently released their debut album WOOF.. The extensive undercard confirmed in the first announcement also features Bar Italia, Working Men’s Club, Bill Ryder-Jones, and Getdown Services, promising a diverse mix of genres for the family-friendly audience.
Beyond the main stages, the festival is expanding its wellness offering with a ‘Wilderwild Retreat’ featuring saunas and ice baths. The comedy bill will be bolstered by appearances from Rachel Parris and Laura Lexx, while the arts programme continues its tradition of literary and theatre events.
Tickets for the 2026 event are selling fast, with Early Bird and Tier 1 allocations already sold out. Tier 2 adult weekend tickets are currently available at £209, while youth tickets range from £50 to £100 depending on age, and children under 2 attend for free. Payment plans are available via Kaboodle to spread the cost of entry.
