Co-op has unveiled a brand-new line-up of member price deals that are exclusive to its pop-up festival stores this summer, helping Co-op members save more whilst they stock up in the fields and soak up the atmosphere.
Festivalgoers, who are Co-op members, will have access to a series of exclusive discounts on a variety of items such as drinks and snacks just by swiping their card or app. Co-op members will also get the opportunity to take advantage of an extra special benefit which allows the first 100 members to skip the queue at Co-op festival stores with a special lanyard.
Co-op’s ‘pop-up’ convenience stores have become a firm fixture on the festival circuit since 2018 and the 6,000 square foot shops that cater to hundreds of thousands of festival goers over the summer will return to nine of the UK’s most popular festivals, including Download, Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Latitude, Kendal Calling, Creamfields and Reading and Leeds.

The Co-op membership enables shoppers to earn – 2p in every pound spent on own-brand products is returned to the member’s digital wallet – give – 2p in every pound spent on own-brand products helps fund thousands of community causes – and save –with member prices and personalised offers . Festival-goers that are members will continue to receive these benefits while also raising funds to help community causes.

Co-op’s festival stores open early and remain open until late, stocking over two hundred essential products, including festival essentials, fresh food, beers, wines, food-to-go products and drinks. Co-op’s ethical ranges, including Fairtrade lines, 100 percent fresh British meat ranges, plant-based products and its own-brand water that supports clean water projects in Africa will also be available to purchase.
Additionally, the convenient click-and-collect service that launched at three Co-op festival stores last year will be re-introduced at five festivals (Download, The Isle of Wight Festival, Latitude, Kendal Calling and Leeds), allowing customers to bypass unwanted queues and giving them time back to experience all the unique festival activities on offer. Revellers can simply explore, soak in the festival atmosphere and tick off their artist bucket lists whilst Co-op’s dedicated team will pack up their order and have it ready for collection at their convenience.
Festival goers are also invited to get involved in a series of in-store events at each of the Live Nation festival sites offering unforgettable experiences, money-can’t-buy prizes and festival tickets for 2024. From a one-of-a-kind queen tea brunch with UK Drag Race’s Cheddar Gorgeous, to an in-store competition where shoppers can bag a free basket shop at Co-op. Other activations include brass band parades, musical performers and interactive bingo.
Co-op introduced new member prices in April 2023 to help its members save more when shopping in its 2,400 stores across the UK. The convenience retailer launched the new member prices in store as an additional money-saving membership benefit, alongside weekly personalised offers that are available via the Co-op app.
