Field Maneuvers will return to Norfolk from August 15-17, 2025. For their 11th edition, the team went all out. With more people behind the scenes, they added extra music spaces and new activities like speed dating, zine-making, and a nail bar. The crowd truly showed up to celebrate FM, making it their best event yet. Their best edition yet gave them the energy—financially and emotionally—to keep the momentum going for another round.
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Friday, 27th, at 10 a.m. 50% of all tickets will be set at their lowest price for the full day (ending midnight or when they run out), including limited deposit and 5-person group tickets, to ensure affordability for dedicated FM fans and financial security. In the FM team’s words, “early sales equals an even better FM than last year. And we have so many new plans we want you to see.”
Field Maneuvers has grown independently over the last decade, fueled by the dedication of directors Leon Cole, Ele Beattie, Henry Morris and the rest of the team behind the scenes. This self-funded festival embodies underground and DIY culture, building a robust and inclusive community of partygoers, dancers, artists, staff, and volunteers. FM’s £40,000+ crowdfunder after their 2022 post-pandemic edition and the incredible turnout to their formerly envisioned final edition for 2024 highlights the vital space they’ve created and the community experience they continue to deliver each year.
Field Maneuvers consistently curates an exciting, progressive lineup, working with crews and collectives to improve representation and foster community. In 2024, takeovers included Dalston Superstore, Dialled In, Kallida, Club Yeke, INTERVENTION, Low End Dreams and Rye Wax. Known for its eclectic programming—from ambient and IDM to jungle, techno, donk and beyond — and mammoth lineups boasting the likes of Josey Rebelle, Soichi Terada, LCY, Djrum, Eris Drew, Octo Octa, Bored Lord, OK Williams, Manix, Chris Liberator, Angel D’Lite and so many more over the years, it has become a go-to event for music lovers. While the 2025 lineup is still under wraps, it promises not to disappoint.
The team have shared the following statement on their decision to run again in 2025 despite initially planning to scale down and change the festival.
“As you know, we weren’t sure if we’d make it this far. This time last year, we were done with FM. Running an independent festival in this volatile climate is masochistic at the best of times – at least 50 UK festivals didn’t make it past the start line this year. Half of our team wanted to call it quits, all of the team wanted to regain some free time (after working on FM besides our full-time jobs for the last 11 years) and, so the happy medium we arrived at was that FM would downsize, and we’d continue, but different. What did that mean you asked? We didn’t really know, but we were hopeful it would involve less blood, sweat and tears.
Now, we find ourselves wanting to do it all over again… But why?
Well, mostly because of you lot. You saved us with the crowdfunder, you supported us when we said it was our last party, and since then, we have been overwhelmed with your messages of support and love. You’ve given us the confidence to go again. So, without wanting to sound needy, we need you. Last year, your early support was overwhelming and affirming, and we need you to show up again.
Last year we sold 60% of our tickets on our first day. This early support meant we were able to put on one of our best FMs to date. Instead of spending the best part of the year with the threat of potential financial doom, we could book tents, bogs & sound systems nice and early, get the best deals, secure the best team and lock down our favourite line-up to date, too. In this current climate, it is only possible for events like ours to survive with this type of early solid support from our community, so we’re going to try something new this year in terms of tickets.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, 27th, at 10 a.m. As always, they will be available to our mailing list first before we make them available to the public at midday.
