Following the complete sell-out of their first tour in ten years, Super Furry Animals have announced that Getdown Services will join them for their outdoor summer show at Bristol Sounds on Wednesday 24th June 2026. The Bristol-based duo are a key addition to a line-up that already includes the acclaimed solo artist Gwenno. Tickets for this highly anticipated event are set to go on sale this Friday.
With a strong following in the South West, Getdown Services are expected to draw a large crowd to what will be one of their biggest shows to date. The duo, consisting of Josh Law and Ben Sadler, gained widespread recognition with their 2023 debut album, Crisps, and have continued to build momentum with extensive support from BBC 6 Music for their recent EP, Your Medal’s In The Post. They will be supporting Super Furry Animals on all of their 2026 tour dates except for the show in London.
The Bristol Sounds show is currently the only festival date announced for Super Furry Animals’ reunion tour, which saw all 30,000 tickets for their initial dates sell out within hours. The series of concerts at Bristol’s Harbourside will also feature performances from The Kooks, The Streets, and Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark.
Super Furry Animals’ ‘Supacabra 2026 Tour’ marks the first time the band has performed together in a decade, with all original members returning. In addition to the tour, the band has also reissued their seventh studio album, Love Kraft, to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
