If you’ve missed out when tickets for next summer’s much-anticipated Glastonbury Festival sold out in record time, here are some more chances to get your hands on Glasto’ tickets in these competitions.
In previous years, we’ve listed competitions from WaterAid, EE, Heatworld, eFestivals, BBC Radio 6 Music, Mallets Cider, Oxfam, National Express, GWR and The Co-op. We’ll be keeping an eye on all of these for any 2023 giveaways.
As it stands, the only ways to win tickets are on promotional packs of Brothers Cider or in Oxfam’s raffle to win Glastonbury tickets in support of the DEC’s Turkey-Syria earthquake appeal. Each entry requires a £10 donation to the appeal.

- Purchase a promotional pack of 10x 440ml Festival Apple Cider or a promotional 500ml bottle from a supermarket
- Alternatively, all bottles bought from the Brothers website will come with a chance to enter

BBC Radio 1 Jan Slam
Prizes: 1 pair of Glastonbury 2023 tickets
Closing date: 16th January 2023
How to enter:
- Listen to the Greg James All Day Breakfast podcast on BBC Sounds when it becomes available at 7am on Monday 16th January
- When you hear the competition keyword, text it to 81199 before 8am
- Five entries will be randomly shortlisted by 8:30am and be asked to answer “How much do you want to win this prize?”
- The people with the two best answers will take part in a head-to-head quiz, live on Radio 1m where the winner gets the tickets.

- A panel of three judges will select the best five shortlisted videos as winners

The Guardian have ten pairs of Glastonbury tickets up for grabs in their prize draw – but you can’t enter for yourself.
You need to nominate someone else to win the pair of tickets, and if you’re lucky, they might bring you along with them – but they’re under no obligation to do so and can take whoever they want.

Prizes: One winner will have their costume design worn by the leader of the Sunday Kidzfield Parade. They’ll get to attend Glastonbury and see behind the scenes.

Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar @ The Co-op

Glastonbury has boasted an onsite Co-op supermarket in recent years with the convenience chain often running its own ticket giveaway.
This time around, there are 23 pairs of tickets being given away in a partnership with Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar, a cheese created using milk from the herd of dairy cows who graze on the Glastonbury site throughout the year.
Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis said: “About 100 years ago, my grandfather decided to make the milk at Worthy Farm into Caerphilly cheese. Now, after 50 years of our recent festival history, our farm milk is being made into cheese once again by Wyke Farms and will be sold exclusively at Co-op stores across the UK.
“We’re thrilled that we can work together as a collective, with Co-op and Wyke Farms, to bring this tasty reserve cheddar to households across the UK.”
Joanne Wadsworth, Co-op cheese buyer, said: “Co-op is well-known for its support of British farmers and producers, plus our on-going relationship and shared values with the Glastonbury Festival makes our stores the perfect home for Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar.”

As far as we know, these are still exclusive to The Co-op.
Emerging Talent Competition
Entries closed on 7th February
Go one step further than winning entry to the festival with Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition, which gives acts of any musical genre the chance to win a slot on one of the main stages.
The winner will receive a £5,000 prize while two runners up will get £2,500 prizes. While only the overall winner is guaranteed to make the Glastonbury line-up, all eight shortlisted finalists have been given slots the last five times the competition has run.
Entries are open for one week only from 9am Monday 31st January until 5pm Monday 7th February 2020. Entrants must supply an original song on SoundCloud alongside a video of themselves performing. 30 music writers will then help compile a longlist of 90 acts before the best 8 compete in live finals in Pilton.
