Green Man Festival will return to Wales’ Bannau Brycheiniog National Park from 20-23 August 2026, with all tickets going on sale at 10am this Saturday (27 September 2025). The announcement comes as Wales’ largest music, science and arts festival prepares for what organisers expect will be a record-breaking sell-out, following Green Man 2025’s extraordinary success which saw tickets disappear in under 60 minutes.
The 2025 festival secured widespread critical acclaim with five-star reviews from major publications including The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, London Standard and Rolling Stone UK. Festival-goers witnessed euphoric headline performances from Wet Leg, Underworld, TV On The Radio and Kneecap, alongside standout sets from CMAT, MJ Lenderman, Perfume Genius, Nilüfer Yanya, Yard Act, Cymande, English Teacher, Wunderhorse, Kelly Lee Owens and Beth Gibbons. The festival also celebrated Welsh talent with performances from Gwenno, Melin Melyn, Los Campesinos! and Tristwch Y Fenywod.
Tickets will be available exclusively through official vendor Ticketsellers, with organisers emphasising this will be the only ticket release for Green Man 2026. Adult weekend tickets are priced at £296, with student and under-25 tickets at £266. Teen weekend passes (13-17 years) cost £211, while Little Folk tickets range from £41 for ages 3-5 to £61 for ages 6-12, with infants under two attending free.
For those seeking an extended festival experience, the Settler’s Pass transforms Green Man into a week-long holiday, welcoming ticket holders on-site from Monday 17 August. This premium option includes an expanded programme of workshops and music, plus discounts on local heritage sites, galleries and castles across Wales. Adult Settlement passes are priced at £376, with corresponding discounts for students, teens and children. First details of the 2026 lineup will be announced early next year.
Green Man 2025 showcased the festival’s diverse programming beyond music, featuring dynamic discussions in the Babbling Tongues area with conversations between Huw Stephens and Charlotte Church, MOJO editor Keith Cameron, and Welsh DJ-producer Kelly Lee Owens. The Last Laugh stage presented emerging comedians including BAFTA winner Spencer Jones, satirist Stewart Lee and Welsh comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean, while the Round The Twist stage hosted late-night DJ sets from LYNKS, Ros Atkins and James Endeacott.
The festival’s commitment to sustainability was evident through new solar-powered Pandemonium stage alongside hydrogen-powered Alchemy and Whimsy stages, presenting performances and discussions exploring climate movement solutions. Einstein’s Garden captivated visitors with hands-on science experiments, talks and wildlife walks, while The Courtyard served as a hub for locally brewed Welsh beers and ciders, including Green Man’s own Growler and Guzzler festival beers.
Now entering its third decade, Green Man attracts 25,000 daily visitors from across the world to the breathtaking Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. The seven-day event spans music, comedy, literature, film, performance art, wellness and science, with dedicated areas for children and teens. The festival has built a reputation for nurturing new talent, with artists including Fontaines DC, Michael Kiwanuka, Self Esteem, First Aid Kit and Kae Tempest having seminal early performances at Green Man.
As one of only three remaining large independent festivals in the UK, Green Man generates £28 million into the Welsh economy and remains the only large UK festival with controlling female ownership. The festival refuses sponsorship to maintain programming freedom while supporting independent Welsh food and beverage producers. It holds a Gold Charter from Attitude is Everything for accessibility improvements and was the first festival to offer on-site training for former refugees and asylum seekers.
