James Gillespie Raw

Today, James Gillespie has announced a new headline show at Colours in London on Wednesday 26 March. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 21st March, available here.

James Gillespie is a singer-songwriter with a voice that cuts deep and lyrics that hit even deeper. Blending raw emotion with a gritty, soulful delivery, his music is a collision of vulnerability and power—stripped back yet immense, intimate yet anthemic.

With over 250 million streams and a dedicated global fan base, James has solidified himself as one of the most compelling independent artists of his generation. His breakout singles, including What You Do and Lost, showcased his ability to craft haunting melodies and deeply personal storytelling, earning him comparisons to the likes of Hozier and Dermot Kennedy.

James has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, releasing tracks with Kygo and Stefflon Don, bringing his signature sound to a global audience. Having toured the world and shared stages with the likes of P!nk, he thrives in a live setting, where his raw vocal presence and electric energy take center stage.

Currently working on his third album, James continues to evolve, blending acoustic and electronic textures while staying true to the honesty that defines his sound. Whether through stripped-down ballads or stadium-sized anthems, his music speaks to anyone who’s ever loved, lost, or searched for something real.

This year, James returns to London for a rare, intimate performance—just him and a guitar. Stripped of all excess, this show will lay everything bare, bringing fans closer than ever to the raw emotion and storytelling that define his music. No distractions, no filters—just the songs, the stories, and the voice that has captivated millions.
