American Express presents BST Hyde Park has named Bon Jovi as its first headliner for 2027. The GRAMMY Award-winning, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band will play a UK exclusive show on the Great Oak Stage on Thursday 24 June 2027, 14 years after they headlined the festival’s inaugural edition in 2013. The full line-up is still to be announced. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 23 October via bst-hydepark.com.

When Bon Jovi first headlined BST Hyde Park in 2013, they opened the festival with a huge show packed with anthems, setting the bar for the years that followed. Organisers are framing the return as a full circle moment for one of rock’s biggest live acts.

Jon Bon Jovi said: “We have a storied history with performing at Hyde Park on previous tours and it’s a full circle moment to be returning to BST Hyde Park, 14 years after headlining the very first festival. The Forever Tour has been an incredible celebration of the music and the fans who have been with us all these years. There’s nothing quite like the energy of a UK crowd, and the joy and excitement we shared with our fans this summer was something truly special. To bring that energy back to Hyde Park means a lot to us. We’re grateful for every one of you and can’t wait to make more memories together.”

It has been a huge 12 months for the band. In 2026 they made a highly anticipated return to the stage with the Forever Tour, including nine sold-out nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden, sold-out shows in Edinburgh and Dublin, and three spectacular sold-out shows at London’s Wembley Stadium. The comeback followed Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cord surgery and rehabilitation, documented in the Hulu series Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story. The band first confirmed the tour with UK dates at Murrayfield, Croke Park and Wembley, before adding a third and final Wembley Stadium date as demand grew.

Last year also saw the release of FOREVER (Legendary Edition), which reimagines songs from the band’s FOREVER album alongside a line-up of collaborators including Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, Carín León, Joe Elliott, Robbie Williams and Avril Lavigne.

Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents UK and European Festivals, said: “Bon Jovi helped launch BST Hyde Park in 2013, and it’s a pleasure to welcome them back. They are one of the defining rock bands of their generation, with an extraordinary catalogue of hits and a live show that remains as powerful and compelling as ever. They continue to connect with audiences around the world, making this rare return to Hyde Park a genuinely special occasion.”

More names for the 2027 edition will be announced soon. The booking follows a record-breaking 2026 season that featured Garth Brooks, ATEEZ, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Duran Duran, Pitbull and Lewis Capaldi. ATEEZ headlined on 28 June in a UK exclusive, Maroon 5 played on 3 July with OneRepublic and Jess Glynne among the special guests, and Lewis Capaldi closed the season with two nights, joined on stage by Sam Fender.
