Roskilde Festival has completed its 2026 music lineup, announcing the final 20 acts and releasing the full festival schedule. Headlining the announcement is South Korean pop star Jennie, making K-pop history as the genre reaches the top tier of a Danish festival line-up for the first time.

Jennie, best known as a member of BLACKPINK before launching her solo career, will bring her 2025 debut album Ruby to the main stage, accompanied by a full ensemble of dancers. The album, which features contributions from Dua Lipa, Doechii and Kali Uchis, earned widespread critical acclaim from publications including Rolling Stone and NME. “Jennie is impossible to ignore when trying to understand where pop music is heading,” said Thomas Sønderby Jepsen, Head of Music at Roskilde Festival. “The addition of Jennie reinforces what Roskilde Festival is and is meant to be: a festival that reflects the present tendencies while pointing towards the future.”

American rapper Ken Carson is another standout addition, bringing his distinctive rage rap sound, heavy beats, distorted vocals, and punk-influenced energy to the bill. He is joined by fellow US acts Jalen Ngonda (soul), Bia (rap), and Hemlocke Springs, alongside alternative rock duo Panda Bear & Sonic Boom. Danish rap legends Malk de Koijn also feature in the final twenty, a long-awaited reunion with one of the festival’s home country’s most beloved acts.

The final additions also reflect Roskilde’s long-standing commitment to global representation, with music from Greenland, Palestine, and Ukraine included. Tarrak represents Greenland, Palestinian techno producer Sama’ Abdulhadi brings her powerful DJ sets, and Ukrainian duo Heinali & Andriana-Yaroslava complete that trio of voices. The full list of newly announced acts spans Uruguay, Colombia, Tanzania, Morocco, Egypt, and the UK, alongside the US and Denmark.

Acclaimed mid-bill names include Kneecap, Lily Allen, Little Simz, Wolf Alice, Ethel Cain, Audrey Nuna, and Lykke Li. “177 acts from 37 countries reflect a wide diversity and point to where music is heading, with more artists performing in their native languages, plenty of electronic music, a strong local scene, and a clear focus on the live experience,” said Jepsen.

Highlights include the global Piece for Peace Movement, which creates large-scale graffiti pieces carrying messages of peace, and Jamaican collective 1Guh Watch, who bring the energy of dancehall to a performance centred on creativity and community. The performance group Feerne will appear across the entire site with their glittering queer fairy universe, while a new on-site Cinema will screen everything from Oscar-winning films to late-night horror.
