France’s most iconic beach festival, Les Plages Électroniques, has unveiled the first wave of artists set to perform at its landmark 20th anniversary edition next summer. Returning to the sands of the Côte d’Azur in Cannes, the event is scheduled to take place from 7th to 9th August 2026, promising a massive celebration of its two-decade history.
Leading the charge for this special edition are global EDM heavyweights Martin Garrix and Marshmello, alongside a special closing performance from DJ Snake. The festival continues its legacy of blending world-class electronic talent with a uniquely Mediterranean atmosphere, set between the Bay of Cannes and the famous Croisette.
The festivities kick off on Friday, 7th August 2026, with Martin Garrix headlining the main stage. One of the world’s most influential superstars, Garrix is known for his chart-topping hits and massive energy. Joining him on the opening day is Nico Moreno, a leading force in the industrial techno scene known for his fast, hard-hitting sets. The day also features Mosimann, the Swiss DJ and producer celebrated for his hybrid live sets that merge house, pop, and electronic performance.
Saturday, 8th August 2026, sees multi-platinum producer Marshmello take over the decks. The helmeted icon has earned billions of streams through his crossover hits and collaborations. Techno fans will be treated to a set by Belgium’s Amelie Lens, one of the genre’s most commanding figures known for her hypnotic, high-energy style. The lineup for Saturday also diversifies with French rapper PLK bringing his melodic flow to the Riviera, alongside Vladimir Cauchemar, the producer famous for his flute-driven trap sound and striking visual aesthetic.
The 20th anniversary will close on Sunday, 9th August 2026, with a special presentation from DJ Snake. The global superstar returns to the Croisette to present ‘Pardon My French,’ bringing his famed collective to the stage for a high-energy finale of bass, trap, and dance music.
Since its humble beginnings as a small local gathering in 2006, Les Plages Électroniques has evolved into a major European fixture. Today, the festival welcomes more than 60,000 attendees annually from across the globe. The event now spans six stages located on the beach, rooftops, the Palais des Festivals, and even the open sea, hosting over 90 artists each year.
Organisers have teased that this 20th anniversary edition will celebrate the festival’s heritage while pushing forward with enhanced production and new stage concepts. Attendees can expect special collaborations and commemorative moments honouring two decades of creativity. The immersive experience ranges from beach sunsets to late-night afterparties inside the Palais, transforming the Croisette into one of Europe’s biggest dancefloors.
