Limp Bizkit have been named the third and final headliner of PHILLGOOD 2027, closing Sunday 18 July at the Rowing Canal in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The American rap metal band complete a trio that already includes Robbie Williams on Friday 16 July and The Chemical Brothers on Saturday 17 July. The booking spans pop, electronic music and rock as the festival builds on a debut that featured The Cure, Gorillaz, Moby, Kneecap, Wolf Alice, Daniel Avery and Kelly Lee Owens.
Fronted by Fred Durst, with guitarist Wes Borland, drummer John Otto and DJ Lethal, Limp Bizkit formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1994. Their blend of heavy guitars, hip hop, funk and electronics helped define a generation, and the live show still draws huge festival crowds.
Breakthrough album Significant Other topped the Billboard 200 in 1999, with enduring tracks including ‘Nookie’, ‘Re-Arranged’ and ‘Break Stuff’. ‘Break Stuff’ has since passed one billion streams on Spotify. Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water also debuted at number one the following year, selling more than one million copies in the US in its first week, with ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)’, ‘My Way’, ‘My Generation’ and ‘Take a Look Around’ among the singles.
The band have sold more than 40 million records worldwide and picked up three Grammy nominations. The Plovdiv date follows headline sets at Download, Aftershock and Louder Than Life in 2026, and brings them back to Bulgaria after a first visit to Sofia in 2009.
Robbie Williams opens the weekend with a catalogue of pop anthems and a reputation as one of Britain’s biggest live entertainers. The Chemical Brothers, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, take Saturday with one of electronic music’s most celebrated audiovisual shows.
PHILLGOOD launched in July 2026 with more than 35 artists across three days. The Cure, Gorillaz and Moby led the inaugural bill, joined by Kneecap, Wolf Alice, Suede, Sleaford Mods, Thievery Corporation, Daniel Avery, HAAi, Acid Arab, Kelly Lee Owens and more. Thousands of fans made the trip, with more than a quarter of the audience travelling from outside Bulgaria. Alongside sister festival Hills of Rock, promoter Fest Team drew more than 60,000 visitors to Plovdiv across two weeks of live music.
Plovdiv is widely recognised as the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe, with Thracian, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman layers still visible in the modern city, plus a contemporary arts, food and nightlife scene. The Ancient Theatre of Philippopolis, built in the first century AD, is one of the best preserved ancient theatres in the world and remains a working open-air venue.
The second edition runs from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 July 2027 at the Rowing Canal. It is organised by Fest Team Ltd. as part of the Heritage 2023 programme of the Plovdiv 2019 Foundation, with the support of Plovdiv Municipality. Plovdiv was a European Capital of Culture in 2019.
Three-day passes start at €199. Day tickets for the opening night are from €99, and day tickets for the second night go on sale today. Tickets and updates are at phillgood.ink and festteam.bg.
