South London singer-songwriter Joy Crookes has been confirmed as the latest major addition to the Cross The Tracks 2026 lineup, joining previously announced headliner Little Simz. The festival, which celebrates jazz, funk, and soul music, is set to return to Brockwell Park on Sunday, May 24th, 2026.
This latest announcement marks a significant return for Crookes, who previously delivered a spectacular performance at the festival in 2022. She arrives fresh off the release of her new album, Juniper, which follows her critically acclaimed debut Skin. That record reached number five on the UK Official Charts and earned her nominations for both the Mercury Prize and the BRIT Awards, cementing her reputation as one of the country’s most distinctive vocal talents.
Joining Crookes in this second wave of artist announcements is Australian soul singer Don West. Known for a sound that draws heavily on legends like Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield while nodding to contemporaries such as Jalen Ngonda, West is quickly carving out a niche in the modern soul landscape.
The festival has also secured a performance from WAR, one of the most renowned funk groups of the 1970s. Famous for their eclectic fusion of soul, Latin, jazz, blues, reggae, and rock, the group adds a touch of musical history to the bank holiday festivities. Other new names added to the bill include London-based producer BexBlu, R&B artist Charlotte Dowsson, Brother Wallace, and The Josh Barry Experience.
These new additions bolster an already impressive roster that includes Mercury Prize-winning headliner Little Simz, Afrobeat collective KOKOROKO, Obongjayar, and neo-soul musician Lady Wray. Tickets for the 2026 edition are currently on sale via the Cross The Tracks website.
