West Belfast and Derry trio Kneecap have announced their biggest headline show to date, scheduled for London’s Crystal Palace Park on Saturday 27 June 2026. The event is poised to be one of the most significant gatherings in the 2026 London Irish calendar, with organizers confirming a capacity of 25,000 fans. The hip-hop group will be joined by a robust lineup of special guests including The Mary Wallopers, Fat Dog, Biig Piig, Gurriers, and Madra Salach.
The band addressed the announcement with their characteristic defiance and humour, referencing their previous legal battles in the capital. “Back to the belly of the beast for our biggest ever headline show,” the group stated. “Our last wee venture into London was to beat the government in court…again. This time it’ll be even better: 25,000 sound heads in a park together. We’re delighted to have some of our best mates and best bands around to join us. This is one we can’t wait for.”
Tickets for the major outdoor event will be available later this week. An artist pre-sale is scheduled to begin at 9am on Wednesday 26 November through www.kneecap.ie. Tickets will then go on general sale at 9am on Friday 28 November via www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
The announcement comes as the ‘Kneecap movement’ continues to gain momentum globally. Fresh from another sold-out UK tour and the release of their new single ‘No Comment’ featuring Sub Focus, the trio have cemented their status as a potent force in modern music. Their 2024 concept album Fine Art, produced by Toddla T, propelled them into the mainstream, alongside their BAFTA-winning and Academy Award-shortlisted feature film.

Leading the support bill are The Mary Wallopers, a seven-piece Irish ballad group known for their rabble-rousing performances. Originally a trio traveling the country to collect songs, they expanded their lineup to include bass, drums, accordion, and tin whistle following their viral lockdown streams. Having played to thousands at venues like Dublin’s Vicar Street, they bring a live energy described as “Dead Kennedys meets The Clancy Brothers” to the park.
The bill is rounded out by an eclectic mix of contemporary talent. Genre-bending five-piece Fat Dog will perform alongside unique modern pop artist Biig Piig. Industrial post-punk outfit Gurriers and rising experimental folk band Madra Salach complete the lineup, ensuring a diverse range of sounds for the all-day event.
Crystal Palace Park maintains its reputation as London’s original outdoor concert venue, having hosted legendary acts such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, and Pink Floyd. Following a successful 2025 season featuring Deftones and RÜFÜS DU SOL, the 2026 schedule is already shaping up to be impressive, with previously announced shows from Two Door Cinema Club, Snow Patrol, and The Offspring.
