Global superstar Lewis Capaldi has been confirmed as the headliner for the 2026 return of the In the Park concert series, with shows announced for Newcastle and Liverpool. The performances will take place on Wednesday 8th July at Exhibition Park, Newcastle, and Saturday 15th August at Sefton Park, Liverpool, marking Capaldi’s biggest-ever outdoor shows in both cities.
The announcement follows Capaldi’s recently concluded, sold-out 17-date arena tour across the UK and Ireland, which earned four- and five-star reviews from critics. His return to the live circuit coincides with major chart success, with his comeback single ‘Survive’ storming to Number 1 and becoming the fastest-selling release of 2025. This marked his sixth UK No.1 single, an achievement shared by global icons such as Beyoncé, Drake, and Queen.
Tickets are expected to sell out quickly for these highly anticipated shows. A presale will go live at 9am (GMT) on Thursday 20th November.
