Nxdia reveals new EP ‘Lovemesick’ and announces three intimate UK release parties this May

Nxdia has announced a new EP, Lovemesick, set for release on 24 April 2026, alongside a trio of intimate EP release parties under the banner Lovemesick: Fever Run, taking place across London, Manchester and Bristol in May.

The four-track EP is described as “an anarchic and annihilating rampage through the detritus of an all-consuming and over-indulgent love destined to implode.” Churning with pulsating electronic beats and Nxdia’s trademark fusion of English and Arabic, the project leans into unhealthy coping mechanisms and toxic cravings at the heart of a relationship disintegration. Nxdia explains: “Lovemesick is a manifesto on how I see love, dedicated to the fuck ups of my love life. It’s a collection of dark love songs with even darker endings — my way of raving through the whirlwind of heartbreak.”

The EP opens with the dance-ready title track before moving through the fizzling reverb and introspection of ‘Anchor’, the toxic hedonism of ‘Balance Beam’, and closing with the full-blown rave energy of ‘Fuck Me Up’. You can pre-save Lovemesick here.

To mark the release, Nxdia will hit the road for Lovemesick: Fever Run, a run of three intimate shows billed as an opportunity for Nxdia’s cult community to bring “crying in the club” to life. The mini-tour kicks off at London’s Colours on 3 May, followed by Manchester’s Deaf Institute on 4 May and Bristol’s Rough Trade on 5 May. Pre-sale tickets went on sale at 9am on Tuesday 14 April, with general sale opening at 9am on Friday 17 April.

The Egyptian-Sudanese, Manchester-raised artist has amassed over 100 million streams globally and 1.2 million monthly Spotify listeners, with support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, NME, Rolling Stone UK, DIY, Dork, Kerrang! and more. Nxdia’s debut mixtape, I Promise No One’s Watching, arrived in 2025 and was followed by a sold-out debut UK and EU headline tour that October.

A riotous 2025 festival run — taking in Latitude, Brighton Pride, Lollapalooza Paris, Bludfest, The Great Escape, and a headline slot on the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading & Leeds — cemented Nxdia as one of the most exciting live acts on the circuit. They also performed at BBC Introducing at The Lower Third in London in August 2024. Festival fans can also catch them at Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington on 23 May, where they join headliners Richard Ashcroft and Blossoms.

Lovemesick is out on 24 April 2026.
