Sonny Fodera will bring a huge outdoor headline show to Cardiff Castle on Friday 4 June 2027. The Australian born DJ and producer plays DEPOT Live, with pre-sale tickets at 10am on Thursday 22 October via depotlive.co.uk/sonnyfodera. General sale opens at 10am on Friday 23 October via depotlive.co.uk and Ticketmaster.
The date follows huge demand for his sold out 2027 UK arena tour, which takes in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester and London’s The O2. He will also headline On The Beach in Brighton on Saturday 24 July, giving fans two very different open air settings after the indoor run.
DEPOT Live is billing the Cardiff night as Shangri-La presents Sonny Fodera. The listing puts the start at 3pm, and the show is strictly 18+. His last Cardiff date sold out. Hotel and ticket bundles are due to be available once general sale opens.
Sonny said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to be bringing these shows to Cardiff Castle and Brighton On The Beach next summer. After selling out the arena tour, it’s amazing to be able to add two more dates in such special locations. These are going to be two really different settings, and I can’t wait to get everyone together.”
The shows follow a landmark run for the London based artist. His latest album, can we do it all again?, reached the Top 20 of the Official Albums Chart and is the highest charting album by an Australian artist in 2026. The 18 track record has close to one billion combined streams.
The sold out arena tour builds on his 2025 run, when he became the first DJ to sell out Manchester’s 23,000 capacity Co-op Live. Alongside festival headline slots and his Pacha residency, the Cardiff Castle date is another step up for a live show built on euphoric house and big singalong moments, set against one of Wales’ most iconic backdrops.
Fodera joins the first wave of names for DEPOT Live at Cardiff Castle 2027, presented by DEPOT Live and Cuffe and Taylor. Bananarama are already on the bill, and Kraftwerk have since been added for Wednesday 23 June. More dates are still to be confirmed.
