Last night American Express hosted the official All Points East ‘Amex Afters’ event headlined by Nigerian songwriter, Tems. The intimate gig at Shoreditch’s legendary Village Underground helped Amex Cardmembers and festival-goers get more from their night out, with a one-off show featuring an exclusive live performance from the multi award winning global artist plus a high-energy warm up set from Girl’s Can’t DJ and Taylah Elaine. The special event kicked off straight after Jungle’s stand out set down the road in Victoria Park.
Amex Afters attendees were treated to free Nigerian food provided by the Flygerians, a complimentary drink and an exclusive Tems branded tote bag, journal and stickers orange and spice tea bags, plus popped into the photobooth to help capture the memories with a doodle artist on hand to personalise attendees’ snaps. Finally, two very lucky fans won the chance for a meet and greet with the icon Tems.
Tems commented: “London feels like home and being able to perform for new and old fans at All Points Easts was a great experience. I was excited to perform at Village Underground last night, and the ‘Amex Afters’ crowd really brought the energy.”
