Indie-rock favourites The Kooks have been announced as the headliner for Labyrinth Open Air at Tofte Manor on July 3rd next year. In a South East UK exclusive performance, the band will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic debut album, Inside In / Inside Out. This special, career-spanning set will take place at sunset in the Bedfordshire countryside. Fans can access pre-sale tickets from 10 am on Friday, 7th November, with any remaining general sale tickets available from 3 pm the same day.
The announcement follows a triumphant, sold-out arena tour for the band, which included huge headline shows at The O2 in London and Manchester’s Co-op Live last month. The performance at Tofte Manor promises a unique experience, set within magical woodlands, where The Kooks will play the entirety of their beloved 2006 album. The event is organised by Labyrinth Events, a promoter known for creating live experiences in extraordinary historic settings.
Released in 2006, Inside In / Inside Out became an era-defining British album, selling over two million copies worldwide. It provided the soundtrack for a generation with its sun-drenched riffs and infectious hooks on timeless anthems like “Naïve”, “She Moves in Her Own Way”, and “Ooh La”. These tracks remain instantly recognisable and celebrated today, capturing the carefree spirit of mid-2000s indie music.
Two decades on, the influence of The Kooks has not faded, with a new generation discovering Inside In / Inside Out through viral moments on social media. This has turned the album into a cross-generational phenomenon, uniting fans old and new at their sold-out shows across the globe. Their debut at the magical Tofte Manor is expected to be one of the most in-demand live moments of the summer.
