British indie band The Kooks have announced four outdoor summer shows for 2026, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough debut album ‘Inside In/Inside Out’. The concerts will take place at Delamere Forest in Northwich on June 17, Scarborough Open Air Theatre on June 18, Live at The Piece Hall in Halifax on June 19, and Canons Marsh Amphitheatre for Bristol Sounds on June 23.

Tickets go on general sale Friday October 31 at 10AM, with artist pre-sale beginning Wednesday October 29 and venue pre-sale on Thursday October 30. To check prices or buy tickets, head to this page on Ticketmaster.

The announcement follows the band’s recent completion of their biggest ever headline tour, which included a sold-out performance at Manchester’s Co-op Live and a career-defining show at London’s O2 Arena. The Guardian described the Manchester show as a “triumphant and touching mass singalong”, highlighting the band’s continued ability to connect with audiences two decades into their career.

The 2026 shows mark 20 years since ‘Inside In/Inside Out’ launched The Kooks into fame. The album, which featured hits including ‘Naïve’, ‘She Moves In Her Own Way’ and ‘Seaside’, sold more than 2 million copies and helped define an era of music. Despite the passage of time, the band has experienced a remarkable resurgence, attracting a new generation of Gen Z fans through social media and festival appearances.

In May 2025, The Kooks released their seventh studio album, ‘Never/Know’, which became their highest charting body of work since 2008, landing at number 5 in the UK album charts. The album’s first single was selected as Radio X’s ‘Record of the Week’, while NME described it as “welcoming in a new era of The Kooks”. 1883 magazine praised the release, stating “The Kooks have cemented themselves as a key part of the UK musical landscape”.

The band’s single ‘Sunny Baby’ from the new album received support from The Times, who included it in their ‘Best new songs’ round-up and described the track as “hook perfect”. The Kooks continued their high-profile summer with a standout main stage performance at Reading Festival, which featured Hollywood star Rebel Wilson joining the band onstage for a performance of Coolio’s 1995 hit ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’.

The band has successfully evolved from their indie rock roots, incorporating synthpop and krautrock influences over the years while maintaining the distinctive sound that made them famous. With sold-out tours and epic returns to festival main stages, The Kooks have firmly cemented their place in the hearts of both original fans and a whole new generation of music lovers.
