Y Not Festival has revealed a massive line-up for its nineteenth edition, confirming The Libertines, The Reytons, Two Door Cinema Club, and The Streets as headliners for 2026. The North’s premier indie festival is set to return to the picturesque Pikehall in Derbyshire from Thursday 30th July to Sunday 2nd August. Alongside the headline acts, organisers have announced a star-studded bill featuring Dizzee Rascal, Kaiser Chiefs, Scissor Sisters, and The Vaccines.
Legendary indie rock outfit The Libertines will kick off the festivities early, headlining the Thursday night opening party on 30th July. Fresh from their 2025 Glastonbury appearance and the release of their fourth studio album, All Quiet On the Eastern Esplanade, Pete Doherty and Carl Barât are set to bring their raw garage rock energy to early-entry campers. The main weekend will then see headline performances from South Yorkshire indie juggernauts The Reytons, Northern Irish favourites Two Door Cinema Club, and a Sunday night closing set from Mike Skinner’s The Streets.
Tickets for Y Not Festival 2026 go on presale at 10am on Friday 28th November. The general sale follows 24 hours later at 10am on Saturday 29th November. Weekend camping tickets start from £169 plus booking fees, with family, child, and youth options also available via the official Y Not Festival website.
The announcement marks a significant moment for The Reytons, whose journey with Y Not has seen them rise from a Saloon Bar debut in 2019 to top billing in 2026. Having featured on the line-up five times, the band has cemented their status as festival legends, sticking to their DIY roots following their Number 1 album What’s Rock And Roll? and recent LP Ballad Of A Bystander. They are joined at the top of the bill by Two Door Cinema Club, who continue to evolve their sound with a mix of guitar-driven post-punk and electronic polish.
Sunday night promises a nostalgic and electric close to the weekend with The Streets. Mike Skinner and his crew will deliver a set packed with era-defining anthems from the landmark album A Grand Don’t Come For Free, including classics like ‘Fit But You Know It’ and ‘Dry Your Eyes’.
The 2026 roster is packed with depth across the stages. Pop icon Sophie Ellis-Bextor returns to her dance-pop roots following her 2025 album Perimenopop, while Madchester legends Happy Mondays will bring their genre-defying fusion of funk and psychedelia. The line-up also features huge performances from Kaiser Chiefs, indie-pop favourites Scouting For Girls, and The Royston Club, who recently released their sophomore album Songs for the Spine.
Thursday’s early entry entertainment will be bolstered by performances from Ash and Hard-Fi, setting the tone for the weekend. Other notable additions include Rizzle Kicks, The Snuts, The Fratellis, The Enemy, Lottery Winners, and Pale Waves. Emerging talent is also well-represented, with rapidly rising acts such as Keo, fresh from blending 90s grunge with shoegaze, and singer-songwriter Freddie Halkon making their mark on the bill.
