The world as we know it today is gradually changing due to the state of emergency resulting from the outbreak of COVID-19. And we, like everybody else, have to adapt to this new world.
That is why, facing this constantly changing scenario and all the restrictions imposed by the authorities regarding public events and free movement of persons –making it difficult and many times impossible for the announced artist to participate– we are forced to postpone the upcoming edition of NOS Primavera Sound Porto for reasons of force majeure in full coordination with the Porto Town Hall, which is doing everything it possibly can to support us. Our absolute priority has always been to ensure the safety of our audience, artists and all the people involved in the festival.
For this reasons, and given the unprecedented situation we are facing, NOS Primavera Sound Porto 2020 will happen from 3rd to 5th of September. We feel the obligation and responsibility to contribute in any way possible to the survival of the live entertainment industry, whose role will be crucial for us to return to normality after this unique situation. With all the indispensable support of NOS, Pull & Bear, Super Bock, Via Verde and all the festival sponsors, we are going to combine all our resources so that this change imposed by the health crisis emergency affects the festival’s line up as little as possible.
The tickets purchased for NOS Primavera Sound 2020 will be valid for the new dates. As soon as the state of emergency decreed by the Government of Portugal and all its possible extensions are over, we will share more information and reactivate the ticket sales. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding in this exceptional situation.
We will face this together. And we will get through this together! We are waiting for you at Parque da Cidade to celebrate another edition of NOS Primavera Sound Porto together. Primavera in summer, for once in a lifetime.
