Primavera Sound Barcelona 2026 has revealed how its 150-strong lineup will be divided across the festival’s three main days, with day tickets going on sale this Thursday 23rd October at 11:00 CEST. Doja Cat and Massive Attack headline Thursday 4th June, The Cure and Addison Rae take Friday 5th June, while The xx and Gorillaz close the festival on Saturday 6th June.
The announcement highlights the festival’s transgenerational programming, with Friday’s lineup spanning nearly five decades between The Cure’s 1979 debut album and Addison Rae’s recent first release. The contrasting pairings across all three days demonstrate Primavera Sound’s distinctive approach to curating past, present and future sounds on a single bill.
Californian band TV Girl and singer-producer Sudan Archives have been added to the lineup, performing on Thursday and Saturday respectively. The festival’s free Opening Day on Wednesday 3rd June will feature Wet Leg, Guitarricadelafuente, Yard Act and Ouineta at the Parc del Fòrum, while the Primavera Bits electronic closing party on Sunday 7th June includes sets from Carl Cox, Joseph Capriati, BLOND:ISH and Greta.
Day tickets are priced at €135 for general admission and €195 for VIP, with Primavera Bits tickets starting at €25. Full festival passes remain available, granting access to all events including the yet-to-be-announced Primavera a la Ciutat programme.

The Primavera Sound Barcelona 2026 lineup, unveiled on 25th September, has resolved one of its first mysteries: the distribution of the 150 announced artists across the days. A musical lineup that celebrates the diverse and transgenerational identity of Primavera Sound from the top, as Doja Cat and Massive Attack, The Cure and Addison Rae, and The xx and Gorillaz will headline each of the three main days of the 24th edition. And so, the past, present and future of popular music merge and converse as is only possible at Primavera Sound.
This division offers endless contrasts that the Primavera Sound ecosystem embraces naturally. One example: between The Cure’s first album and Addison Rae’s recent debut, the two headliners on Friday, 46 years have passed. In other words, a single day of Primavera Sound Barcelona encompasses almost five decades of music. A sample of the unmistakable uniqueness of the festival.
As usual, this 24th edition will not be limited to what happens on Thursday 4th, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June. We now also know that Wet Leg, Guitarricadelafuente, Yard Act and Ouineta will be the stars of the free Opening Day on Wednesday 3rd, a celebration open to the whole city of Barcelona in the Parc del Fòrum. On the other hand, the Primavera Bits electronic music festival on Sunday 7th will bring the festival to a close with sessions by Carl Cox, Joseph Capriati, BLOND:ISH and Greta, who will turn the Parc del Fòrum into a huge open-air dance floor. Among the remaining mysteries to be solved is the Primavera a la Ciutat programme, which will soon round off a whole week of music.
In addition to all this is the news that TV Girl and Sudan Archives are joining the line-up for Primavera Sound Barcelona 2026. The Californian psychedelic pop band, whose mysterious album covers conceal a fascinating online cult phenomenon, will perform on Thursday 4th June, while the singer, producer and violinist will present The BPM, her new album, on Saturday 6th June. Lola Young, on the other hand, will not be performing at the festival after cancelling all her public engagements for the coming months.
