Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT Festival has unveiled the first wave of its 2026 lineup, confirming Richard Ashcroft, Kasabian, and a returning Lewis Capaldi as headliners. The festival will kick off the summer at Glasgow Green from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 June, with tickets set to go on sale at 9am on Friday 14 November. Presales begin on Monday 10th November from this page on Ticketmaster.
The Sunday night will feature a sensational comeback for Scots superstar Lewis Capaldi, who is confirmed to close the festival following a sold-out UK tour and the release of his much-anticipated third album. Joining him as headliners are rock icons Kasabian, who will top the bill on Saturday ahead of their ninth studio album, ACT III, and legendary singer-songwriter Richard Ashcroft, who will headline Friday.
Friday’s lineup will be headlined by the iconic voice of The Verve, Richard Ashcroft. He will be joined by Brit Award-winning alt-rockers Wolf Alice, who are fresh from a world tour for their fifth album, The Clearing. The opening day also features Glaswegian singer-songwriter Dylan John Thomas, the iconic disco hits of Nile Rodgers & CHIC, and a nostalgia-fuelled set from Scottish trailblazers The Beta Band. Other acts confirmed for Friday include NewDad, Luvcat, Songer, and Cliffords.
Saturday will see Kasabian deliver their high-octane anthems, supported by Australian DJ Sonny Fodera making his Scottish festival debut. Homegrown talent is well-represented with indie rockers The Snuts and The Fratellis, who will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic album Costello Music. British rapper Loyle Carner, art-rock band The Last Dinner Party, and emerging artists English Teacher, Clementine Douglas, Rose Gray, and Big Special complete the Saturday billing so far.
Lewis Capaldi’s headline set on Sunday will close a day packed with talent. Multi-platinum Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald will make a welcome return to the main stage, alongside Irish star CMAT and pop powerhouse Perrie, who makes her TRNSMT debut. Indie favourites Two Door Cinema Club are billed as an afternoon special guest, with Katie Gregson-MacLeod, Red Rum Club, South Arcade, Overpass, and Westside Cowboys also set to perform.
Geoff Ellis, Festival Director of Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT, said: “This year’s lineup is packed with brilliant artists – from anthemic festival headliners, to the artists fans already know and love, plus lots of new artists for everyone to discover. Every year, the atmosphere on Glasgow Green is amazing and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another unforgettable weekend, this time a little earlier than normal to kick off your summer of music in style.”
More acts are still to be announced across the festival’s four stages.
Presales begin on Monday 10th November from this page on Ticketmaster.
