YUNGBLUD has cemented his status as a leading figure in the modern rock resurgence, becoming the first British artist in history to receive three Grammy nominations in the Rock category. The historic achievement coincides with his collaborative EP with Aerosmith, One More Time, debuting in the US Billboard Top 10.
The release has already topped the US Rock & Alternative charts and secured the number one spot in the UK, marking YUNGBLUD’s second chart-topping record of 2025. The success of the EP also helped rock legends Steven Tyler and Joe Perry reach the summit of the UK charts for the first time in their career.
Speaking on the nominations, which see him joining the ranks of Bruce Springsteen, U2, and Foo Fighters, the 28-year-old expressed his disbelief.
“Someone told me yesterday that I’m the only British artist to receive three nominations in the Rock category ever, which is just completely unfathomable,” YUNGBLUD said. “I grew up in a guitar shop, I grew up on Rock music. The goal was to lean into that love and lean into that passion and create an unfiltered, unadulterated Rock album.”

The One More Time EP, released on November 21 via Capitol Records, represents a significant crossover event. Recorded with producer Matt Schwartz, the project features four original tracks co-written by both acts, alongside a 2025 remix of Aerosmith’s classic Back In The Saddle.
The EP is anchored by lead single My Only Angel, which previously held a three-week run in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. The collection also features a stripped-back “Desert Road Version” of the single featuring Steve Martin on banjo, as well as tracks Problems, Wild Woman, and A Thousand Days.
Beyond the charts, YUNGBLUD’s live prowess continues to drive his momentum. Following a show-stealing performance at the VMAs alongside Aerosmith in September, demand for his live shows has surged. In October, the Doncaster-born star announced a US tour for 2026, with tickets selling out in just one minute.
This international success fulfills a piece of advice YUNGBLUD received from heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne. In their final conversation, Osbourne reportedly told him to “go break America”—a mission the young artist appears to have accomplished.
Closer to home, the summer of 2025 saw YUNGBLUD captivate 40,000 fans at Villa Park with a rendition of Black Sabbath’s Changes. His manager, Tommas Arnby of Special Projects Music, believes this is just the beginning of a wider movement.
“The fact is that the UK is waking up to guitar music again and YUNGBLUD has played a huge part in that,” Arnby stated. “He’s the voice of modern rock and he’s unlike anything we’ve seen in years. His influence isn’t just important, it’s essential to the rebirth of rock and roll in this country.”
While US dates are locked in for 2026, UK fans will be watching closely for announcements regarding the return of his curated festival, Bludfest, or potential headlining slots at major British festivals next summer.
