Rising rock duo The Molotovs have announced they will join Yungblud on his 2026 UK arena tour, with new dates added in Sheffield, Liverpool and Belfast due to phenomenal demand. The band, comprising brother and sister Mathew and Issey Cartlidge, aged 17 and 19, will support the rock sensation across 11 arena shows in April next year.
The announcement comes as The Molotovs prepare to release their new single ‘Rhythm Of Yourself’ on Friday 31st October via Marshall Records, with the band targeting a third consecutive UK number one physical single. Following last week’s sold-out headline show at Camden’s iconic Electric Ballroom, the duo are riding a wave of momentum ahead of their debut album Wasted On Youth, scheduled for release on 30th January 2026.
Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, has enjoyed a stratospheric rise this year with his acclaimed album Idols and an iconic performance of ‘Changes’ at the ‘Back To The Beginning’ farewell concert for Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath. His latest collaboration with Aerosmith and comedy legend Steve Martin on ‘My Only Angel (Desert Road Version)’ has further cemented his status as one of British rock’s most exciting artists.
Speaking about the tour announcement, Issey Cartlidge said: “It’s been brilliant to see what Dom has achieved for British rock and roll on the world stage. There’s so much more to come from both Yungblud and The Molotovs.” The sibling duo will join Yungblud and fellow support act The Warning across the tour, which includes seven already sold-out dates.
‘Rhythm Of Yourself’ has been produced by Jason Perry at Marshall Studios and will be available on white vinyl as well as digital streaming platforms. The single is backed by ‘Johnny Don’t Be Scared’, which was recorded at Paul Weller’s Black Barn Studios. The release follows the band’s previous two singles ‘More More More’ and ‘Today’s Gonna Be Our Day’, both of which topped the physical singles charts.
Despite their young ages, The Molotovs have built an impressive live reputation, playing more than 600 gigs since 2020. The brother-sister duo have shared stages with legendary acts including The Libertines, Sex Pistols, Blondie, Iggy Pop and The Damned, while receiving shout-outs from Green Day and Paul Weller.
Their recent headline show at the Electric Ballroom drew a packed crowd of pogoing, crowd-surfing and moshing fans for an hour-long set featuring songs from the forthcoming debut album, including new tracks ‘Urbia’ and ‘My Metallic Wife’. The audience included James McCartney, songwriter and son of Sir Paul McCartney, highlighting the growing buzz around the young duo.
Before joining Yungblud’s arena tour, The Molotovs will embark on a UK tour with Palaye Royale throughout November 2025, hitting Glasgow, Newcastle, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.
