The Reading Festival 2019 line-up so far

Reading Festival put out their first line-up announcement for 2019 back in November, and have so far revealed 18 artists. We’ve had a few self-confirmations and rumours since then.

Reading will take place on the August bank holiday weekend from 23rd – 25th August 2019 at Little John’s Farm. The location is notable for being right in the centre of town, unusual for a camping festival, putting a large retail park, a Tesco Extra, and a train station within walking distance.

Reading and Leeds mostly share the same line-up, with Reading’s acts appearing at Leeds the next day. Bands appearing on Sunday at Reading will play on Friday at Leeds.

Last year, Fall Out Boy, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, and Kings of Leon headlined the twin festivals. Recent years have also seen Blink 182, Eminem, Metallica, and Green Day appear at the events.

More artists will be confirmed in the weeks and months ahead. NERD were confirmed just two weeks before the 2018 festival, and there’s also the possibility that some bands will ‘self-confirm’ by letting slip in interviews or at their gigs, and the inevitable rumours of secret sets.
