Reading Festival has officially sold out for 2026, with only limited Sunday day tickets remaining, as organisers confirm the biggest staging and arena overhaul in the event’s 37-year history. Pepsi MAX presents Reading & Leeds Festival will introduce six brand new stages across both sites when the twin weekender returns to Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park from 27 to 30 August 2026.
The overhaul arrives on top of an already stacked bill topped by Charli xcx, Chase & Status, Dave, Florence + The Machine, Fontaines D.C. and RAYE, the first time in 25 years the festival has fielded an all-British and Irish headline roster. Leeds will also make history this year, with Kasabian confirmed as the first ever Thursday night headliners at Bramham Park.
The six new stages are named The Grid, The Gallery, The Warehouse, The Canopy, The Ballroom and The Yard, each with its own distinct identity. The Grid takes over as the festival’s main stage and headline home, hosting the six chart-topping headliners alongside Sombr, Skepta, Role Model, Loyle Carner (Reading only) and Blossoms (Leeds only).
The Gallery, presented by Budweiser, is a brand new undercover immersive stage featuring innovative LED screens and production throughout. It will host sets from Josh Baker, Geese, Kneecap, Skye Newman and Holly Humberstone, with Chris Stussy joining at Reading and Jamie Webster, The K’s and Rose Gray added to the Leeds bill.
The Warehouse, previously confirmed as a purpose-built home for dance music, returns with viewing platforms and huge screen production, hosting special sets including Skepta b2b Prospa, Hybrid Minds, Hedex and Silva Bumpa. Max Dean will go b2b with both Luke Dean and Bou across the weekend, in what organisers describe as the first ever custom-built, experiential dance stage at Reading and Leeds.
For the first time in the festival’s history, a transformed stage called The Ballroom will bring chandeliers and draping to the site, hosting breakthrough sets from YT, Florence Road, Niko B, Paris Paloma, Bassvictim, Bleech 9:3, dexter in the newsagent and Chloe Qisha among others. The Canopy, meanwhile, continues the festival’s tradition of championing new music, welcoming Violet Grohl, Villanelle, Camille Blackman, Finessekid and Cruz Beckham and The Breakers.
The Yard, exclusive to Reading, brings an industrial edge to the site with an open-air layout built from shipping containers, offering something organisers say is unlike any other stage at the festival. In Leeds, the new stages sit alongside returning fan favourites LS23 and Piccadilly Circus, with full programming for both to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Elsewhere on the bill, sombr, Jade, Declan McKenna, Maisie Peters, Keo, James Marriott, Kettama, The Lathums, Slayyyter and Nine Vicious are among the acts confirmed across the weekend, alongside many more still to be announced. With Reading now completely sold out for weekend tickets, Leeds Festival remains the only opportunity for fans to secure the full four-day experience this summer, and organisers are urging ticket buyers to act quickly to avoid missing out entirely.
