Celine Dion made her first return to a full concert stage in six years on Saturday night, opening her CELINE DION PARIS 2026-2027 limited engagement at Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, west of Paris, in front of a sold out crowd of 35,000.
The Canadian star, 58, commanded the room with the voice that has sold almost 260 million albums worldwide, in a show billed as the start of a new chapter after years away from touring. Speaking to the crowd, she said: “Finally, it’s amazing we are all together. I made a promise to come back and to be back on stage. So here I am, singing for you, singing for me, singing life.”
The production, designed by Creative Director Willo Perron with design direction by Perron Studios, is built around four acts and the scale of opera. Monolithic structures open, close and transform through the night as a visual metaphor for the chapters of her career and this full circle return to Paris.
She opened with the French classic “On ne change pas”, then moved through global hits including “Because You Loved Me”, “Dans un autre monde”, “Courage”, “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” and 2026 release “Dansons”. An operatic take on “La Wally” brought the arena to its feet before a French encore closed the night.
Video imagery by French creative Thibaut Grevet filled LED screens flanking the stage, while Creative Advisor Annie Horth worked with leading French fashion houses on custom stage looks. Musical Director Scott Price, her collaborator for the past 15 years, led the band.
The run is produced by Concerts West, AEG Presents and Inter Concerts. It was announced on 30 March 2026 as a five week autumn engagement, with a further 10 nights later added for May 2027. Remaining dates run through 17 October, before the May return. Further information is at celinedion.com.

The Paris run follows her 2024 Olympic opening ceremony performance of “Hymne à l’amour” from the Eiffel Tower, her first public return after stepping back from the road. Her two Las Vegas residencies, staged between 2003 and 2019, remain the highest grossing residencies of all time, while 1995 album D’eux is still the best selling French language album ever.
