Download Festival have revealed the first bands from 2020’s line-up will be announced at 2pm this afternoon.
Emails and social media updates sent out yesterday state “DL2020 loading… Monday 23.09.19 2PM“, with organisers confirming this will be the first line-up announcement for next summer.
Fans on social media have speculated that all three headliners could be revealed today.
UPDATE: The headliners were among 12 bands leaked by Black Veil Brides and RockSound.TV ahead of the official announcement, which then confirmed the leak.
Earlybird tickets were taken off sale at 2pm yesterday, though standard tickets for Download 2020 will be back on sale soon. A newsletter sent out yesterday suggests more information on ticket sales will be revealed at 2pm next Sunday, 29th September.
Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool headlined the Donington Park event this summer, where Slayer played their last ever UK show.
