Download day tickets released as day splits confirmed

Download Festival have this morning confirmed the day splits for this year’s event, having previously only confirmed the day a handful of larger acts and headliners will perform. This coincides with the release of Download day tickets to general sale.

Download 2018: Friday Line-Up

Friday at Download 2018 has been set to feature main stage headliners Avenged Sevenfold, alongside Bullet For My Valentine and Volbeat. Today’s announcement confirms Marmozets, Dragonforce, Avatar, and Boston Manor will complete the Friday Main Stage line-up.

The Zippo Encore Stage Friday headliners You Me At Six will be joined by acts including Hell is for Heroes, Andrew W.K. and CKY. Bad Religion and Tesseract will headline The Avalanche Stage and The Dogtooth Stage respectively.

Friday Download day tickets are priced at £79.50 before fees, and available to buy from today. In previous years, day tickets have sold out ahead of full weekend camping passes, with only a relatively limited number available.

The full, updated Download 2018 line-up poster is now in our exclusive poster-calendar.

Download 2018: Saturday Line-up

Saturday at Download 2018 will be headlined by the reunited Guns N’ Roses, joined by Black Stone Cherry and London hard rockers Thunder on the Donington Park Main Stage. The Temperance Movement, The Struts, Monster Truck, Whiskey Myers, and The Pink Slips have today been added to stage’s Saturday billing.

Wrexham pop-punk stars Neck Deep have this week concluded a world tour, having achieved international acclaim since forming back in 2012. They will top Saturday’s Avalanche stage line-up, following performances from Mayday Parade and The Maine.

BABYMETAL bring their surreal brand of idol metal and mythology to The Zippo Encore Stage, supporting Saturday headliners Parkway Drive. Sure to be one of the weekend’s most unmissable spectacles, the band have recently announced the release of a graphic novel authored by The Prophet of The Fox God.

Donington’s second stage will also feature Asking Alexandra, L7, Bury Tomorrow, and Corrosion of Conformity during Saturday afternoon.

Saturday Download day tickets are priced at £92.50, which is a £20 premium over Friday or Sunday tickets. This perhaps suggests that Guns N’ Roses will be handed the extended headline set. Tickets are available now from the festival’s offical Skiddle profile.

Download 2018: Sunday Line-up

Joining rock legends Ozzy Ozbourne and Marilyn Manson on Sunday’s main stage are Shinedown, Black Veil Brides, Cradle of Filth, Inglourious, and Hatebreed.

Rise Against will headline The Zippo Encore Stage on Sunday night, clashing with the majority of Ozzy Ozbourne’s set. Rise Against have previously headlined the Zippo stage in 2012, when strangely they also clashed with Ozzy’s band Black Sabbath’s headline Sunday set.

The Avalanche Stage will be headlined by The Hives, whilst Less Than Jake will bring their lively ska-punk sound to the stage slightly earlier in the evening. Meanwhile, Baroness will headline a Sunday Dogtooth Stage line-up that also features Zeal & Ardor, Myrkur, and All Them Witches.

As per Friday, Sunday Download day tickets are also on sale now at the lower price of £79.50 before fees.
