El Dorado Festival reveals line-up for 2023

Following a solid-gold 2022 event EL DORADO Festival returns, with a host of established and emerging live and electronic acts across their four-day immersive festival session.

Vengaboys, ABSOLUTE, Shanti Celeste, Mall Grab, KC & The Sunshine Band, Folamour, Dan Shake, HAAi, Job Jobse, Anish Kumar, Barry Can’t Swim, Laurence Guy, Prospa (Live), OK Williams, Goldie, Shy FX, Conducta, YU QT, Mr Scruff, Effy, Sally C, Maverick Sabre, and Sampa The Great are just a selection of the names joining across the four festival days.

EL DORADO is the ultimate bespoke festival experience with music, wellness, art and creativity; nestled in the idyllic woodland space of Eastnor Castle Deer Park, Herefordshire.

EL DORADO’s epic festival home will be transformed into a wonderful sprawling 20+ stages, arenas and spaces to host DJs, live acts, talks, workshops, wellness sessions, culinary explorations and more surprises. Stage hosts come in the form of revered names – Dazed, Motion, Born on Road, Free Yard, Disco Disco and more. Music-wise, this year’s names are the strongest to date – all bases covered from bass and garage to techno, disco and everything in between. 

One of the most iconic funk, R&B and disco groups in the world, KC and the Sunshine Band, will headline EL DORADO 2023. As part of their 50th anniversary tour, the group will add a bright, ray of sunshine as they perform top hits from their 40+ year career such as ‘That’s The Way (I Like It) and Give it Up. This will be an unmissable performance for this summers proceedings.

The Vengabus is coming! Yes that’s right – The Vengaboys are headed directly to EL DORADO Festival 2023! Time to relive or discover one of the most iconic acts in eurodance history – this promises to be one of the most monumental moments in El Dorado history. Also on a live tip, Sampa The Great joins – a singer, rapper and songwriter known for her striking live performances packed with power, and inspirational lyricism that will be a highlight of 2023’s proceedings. Revered duo Prospa are set to play a live set too, promised to be packed with high energy from the Leeds lads, plus accomplished producer O’Flynn joins with a carefully curated live set.

DJ/broadcaster, and recent Mixmag cover star JYOTY – known for her boundary-pushing sets, encompassing dancehall, garage, UK Funky and bassline, the breakout artist championing new music and paying respect to the greats. Another genre-bending DJ on board is ABSOLUTE, the electric icon who has built a reputation as a dynamic and fun selector. Dynamic French producer Folamour will play – sure to deliver the eclectic mix of Hi-NRG, and groove-laden sounds that have seen him ascend to global level in recent years, while crowd-favourites Mall Grab and YUQT mix of big room heaters look set to tear up the dancefloor.

Set for sunshine house, disco, techno and party faves is HAAi, who’ll be joined across the weekend by Northern Irish export Sally C, whose chunky selections of chunky dance tunes has earned her a rep for an all-killer-no-filler DJ. Pioneers of UK drum & bass, jungle, and breakbeat, for the best part of three decades, Goldie and Shy FX, will both be bringing their legendary back catalogues to the stage, while Conducta and YU QT look set to continue the heat with their garage-driven explorations that guarantee to get hands in their air. 

Rising talent Anish Kumar, will be bringing his distinctive sounds to proceedings – expect a kaleidoscope of sounds from the producer, who is also known for his love of Bollywood, spliced with contemporary house and disco sonics, while Barry Can’t Swim, and Laurence Guy are sure to match the tempo with their own blends of nostalgic, funk-driven sounds.

The ultimate mix of magic and mayhem, EL DORADO is the perfect mid-season getaway festival that promises to be packed with memorable experiences. Embodying all the elements of a great British festival, but with more to add to their story, EL DORADO boasts a diverse programme with immersive stages and production, quite literally, hundreds of performers and actors, alongside world-class street food and restaurants (vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available), talks, and comedy.

EL DORADO is about immersion, experience, and unique moments – from yoga and wellness to arts and bingo, there’s a packed agenda of activities outside of the main music. Bespoke in every way, EL DORADO is about togetherness and beauty, vibrancy, and each part of the festival has been designed to represent escapism and togetherness. Amongst the vast array of immersive, eclectic performances where artists will interact with guests as they experience El Dorado Festival. Think themed performances, costumes, unique performers, extra, and sparkling! On top of this – there’s many activities to relax and recharge, including meditation, breathwork, yoga and more. in one of the many pamper stations, hot tubs, and even get glammed for the evening in the on-site hair salon hosted by trendy East London born Blue Tit.
