Glastonbury opens its gates in less than 48 hours, and to celebrate LEGOLAND Windsor has unveiled a Lego recreation of the festival within their Miniland attraction – complete with this year’s headliners.
With Stormzy, The Cure and The Killers on the 5,400-brick Pyramid Stage, Liam Gallagher and Miley Cyrus are featured hanging out in VIP.
All the sights you’d expect at Worthy Farm are included, from miniature tents and portaloos to mud-sliding festival-goers and a mini Glastonbury sign.
Paula Laughton, Head Model Maker at LEGOLAND Windsor told press: “We’ve had so much fun building the headliners and some of the stars in this year’s Glastonbury line-up. It’s great to get creative with models of music legends – pint-sized pop princess Kylie is made up of just 36 LEGO bricks!
“The festival is synonymous with British summertime and we love it when we can update Miniland with iconic events for our guests to spot when they visit us.”
The resort builds a mini-Glastonbury each year the festival takes place, most recently in 2017.
The Glastonbury Festival Miniland scene, made up of nearly 10,000 bricks, will be on display until the end of the summer.
