Organisers of Reading and Leeds Festivals have revealed six of their headliners for next summer.
Rage Against the Machine and Halsey will headline the dual main stages on Friday night at Leeds and Sunday night at Reading – a day also set to feature Run The Jewels, Maneskin, Bastille and Pale Waves.
Dave and Megan Thee Stallion are the headliners kicking off Reading on the Friday, then heading up to appear at Leeds on the Saturday. The day’s line-up includes PoloG, Little Simz, Glass Animals and Circa Waves.
Closing Leeds on the Sunday are headline sets from Arctic Monkeys and Bring Me The Horizon, after they’ve played Reading on the Saturday night. Alongside them will be Wolf Alice, Fontaines D.C., Enter Shikari and Jack Harlow.
Dave, currently 23, will be the youngest ever Reading and Leeds main stage headliner. He told BBC Radio 1: “It’s a massive honour, especially to be in the company of other legends that are headlining.”
Oli Sykes, frontman of Bring Me The Horizon, told NME: “We’re gonna go hard.
“We’ll make sure it’s insane. I’ve always said that we’d play it when we’ve earned it, and it’s finally come. We have the songs, we have the bangers, and we might not be a household name but I know that we can put on a show that’s festival-headline quality.”
The festivals take place over the August bank holiday weekend from 26th to 28th August, with campers arriving from Wednesday 24th.
Pre-sale tickets have been on sale since 8am this morning, with tickets going on general sale from 9am this Friday.
