Self Esteem has been confirmed as a major headliner for the 2026 edition of On The Mount at Wasing, the concert series set within the breathtaking woodland amphitheatre of the Wasing Estate in Berkshire. One of the most defining pop artists of the moment, Rebecca Lucy Taylor—better known as Self Esteem—will bring her acclaimed live show to the unique outdoor venue on Saturday, 4th July 2026.
This announcement sees Self Esteem joining an already impressive roster of talent for the summer series. She joins the previously announced pop sensation MIKA, who headlines on Friday 26th June, alternative rock legends Pixies, scheduled for Saturday 27th June, and the soulful Alabama Shakes who will perform on Thursday 2nd July. The series, known for its “transportive setting” in a natural enclave near Reading, continues to curate a diverse programme rooted in music, nature, and connection.
Fans hoping to secure their spot at this landmark performance can access tickets later this week. O2 Presales begin on Wednesday 3rd December at 10:00am, followed by a Ticketmaster Presale on Thursday 4th December at 10:00am. The General Sale will commence on Friday 5th December at 10:00am, with all tickets available via Ticketmaster.co.uk.
Rebecca Lucy Taylor enters 2026 as a triple threat in music, literature, and acting, following a whirlwind five years that have seen her transition from indie cult favourite to mainstream hero. Her performance at The Mount follows a massive 2025, which saw the release of her third album and debut book, both titled A Complicated Woman.
The album, released in April 2025, featured some of her strongest songwriting and was propelled by a jubilant choir of mostly female voices, earning her the Visionary Award at the Ivor Novello Awards. Her lead single ‘Focus Is Power’ was notably chosen by the BBC to soundtrack their coverage of the Lionesses’ UEFA European Football Championships win.
On The Mount at Wasing is celebrated for its stunning location on the Wasing Estate (pronounced Way-zing). The venue offers a truly mindful space, starting with an enchanting woodland trail that welcomes guests and leading into an amphitheatre blooming with wildflowers. It creates an immersive atmosphere where audiences can experience world-class artists against one of the UK’s most unique backdrops.
Prior to her recent successes, Taylor spent a decade as one half of the indie duo Slow Club. Her breakthrough as a solo artist came with the empowering single ‘I Do This All The Time’ and her second album Prioritise Pleasure, which received nominations for the Mercury Prize and BRIT Awards. With a passionate fanbase and a reputation for “cathartic screams” that get to the heart of modern womanhood, her show at Wasing promises to be a highlight of the summer 2026 calendar. More acts for the series are expected to be announced in due course.
