The Neighbourhood will play Rock Werchter on Thursday 1 July 2027, joining the Main Stage at the Festivalpark in Werchter. Organisers confirmed the booking today, 4 November, a day after Nothing But Thieves were added for Friday.
The Californian five-piece land on the opening day, the same day Massive Attack are already booked to headline. They arrive with fifth album ‘(((((ultraSOUND)))))’, which organisers describe as a more layered, more mature take on the genre-bending sound the band built their name on. Lyrics lean personal, taking in heartbreak, disillusionment and vulnerability.
Rock Werchter 2027 runs from Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 July. Also announced so far are Tame Impala, SOMBR, Muse, Angèle, Sam Fender and Turnstile. More names are still to come.
Tickets are on sale via ticketmaster.be, with one-day, two-day and four-day options available. Camping is on offer too, from bringing your own tent through to glamping. A full overview of accommodation is on the Rock Werchter camping page.

The band have been going since 2011. Global breakthrough came in 2012 with “Sweater Weather”, which reached number one on Billboard’s Alternative chart. The track is still a streaming fixture. Organisers say it appears on more than 103 million user-curated Spotify playlists, making it the most-added track ever on the service.
The catalogue around that hit is a long one. Platinum debut ‘I Love You’ arrived in 2013, followed by ‘Wiped Out!’ in 2015, self-titled album ‘The Neighbourhood’ in 2018, and ‘Chip Chrome & the Mono-Tones’ in 2020. Across those records the band kept mixing pop, rock and hip-hop, and kept the black-and-white look that made them easy to spot. They were also among the first names announced for Open’er Festival 2027.
Rock Werchter bills itself as a festival that puts rock at the centre of an eclectic programme, pairing established acts with newer names. Full details are at rockwerchter.be.
