Taking place on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd November, it’s the inaugural event at Boomtown’s brand new, 3,500-capacity indoor events complex at their Bristol headquarters.

Named ‘Area 404’, after one of the newest districts at Boomtown Fair, the venue was granted an event licence earlier this month. Details were revealed when an official Facebook event was created, but only the date of ticket sales was published.

With almost 45,000 people now ‘interested’ or ‘attending’ on Facebook, dedicated fans will be keen to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale, which has now been confirmed as 7pm tonight, Thursday 29th August.

Pre-registration for tickets is open now at TicketFairy. Tickets will be priced at £33 plus fees. It’s an 18+ event and costumes are “compulsory”.

After 7pm, this link should take you directly to the booking page. It currently redirects to the pre-registration page. Alternatively, use the TicketFairy homepage. It might be worth setting a reminder on your phone for a few minutes before sales start.

A comment from organisers on the pre-registration page says: “We are so pleased to be able to finally announce this venue, it feels like a proper homecoming for us and we’re unbelievably excited to be able to showcase everything we’ve grown into since we started putting on gigs in Bristol over a decade ago.

“To be able to bring our unique mix of interactive and immersive theatre, the beautifully handcrafted intricate set designs and to represent a huge amount of music genres all under one roof, is going to be something incredibly special!”
