Boomtown tickets have sold out this evening, following a “Boomtown sold out soon!” warning posted on the festival’s social media accounts several hours ago. The festival takes place in late August, and selling out as early as February is a sure sign of the festivals continued success. Last year Boomtown sold out in early July, around five or six weeks before the festival.

The sellout has occurred just a few weeks following the news that Gorillaz and Limp Bizkit are scheduled to appear, with only a limited selection of travel inclusive packages remaining available. Many on social media were surprised at the news, and expressed their disappointment to have missed out on a ticket for this years extravaganza.
