Of all the artists rumoured to appear at Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary next summer, Taylor Swift is now considered the most likely to headline the Pyramid Stage by bookmakers Sky Bet.
Sky are offering odds of 4/6, meaning if you placed a £6 bet on Taylor Swift headlining, you’d only win an extra £4 if you were proved right. Back in July, Taylor didn’t even make Sky’s top 10, but she became their third most likely after announcing a festival tour earlier this month.
Since then, Sky have adjusted their odds again to place Taylor Swift top of the pile. Fleetwood Mac are now the second favourite at 4/5, with Paul McCartney in third place.
Taylor’s summer 2020 tour has six European dates announced so far, including Roskilde Festival, also celebrating it’s 50th anniversary next year. The poster for the tour states: “Additional UK and international dates and festivals will be announced soon.”
A festival in Oslo on Friday 26th June is the only tour date which clashes with Glastonbury’s main days of music, leading social media users to suggest a date of either 27th or 28th June at Worthy Farm could be announced soon.
Last time around, the first headliner was revealed in November when Stormzy was announced on a poster in the window of two Oxfam stores. The British rap artist and the remaining headliners were among 65 artists revealed on 15th March 2019.
Here are the twenty most likely Glastonbury 2020 headliners, according to Sky Bet, as of 30th September 2019:
- Taylor Swift 4/6
- Fleetwood Mac 4/5
- Paul McCartney 1/1
- The 1975 6/4
- Foals 7/4
- Kendrick Lamar 15/8
- Arctic Monkeys 3/1
- Coldplay 3/1
- Elton John 7/2
- Led Zeppelin 4/1

These odds are specific to headlining the Pyramid Stage, so those artists deemed very unlikely could still have a strong chance of appearing elsewhere on the Glastonbury line-up.
