The Cure have been confirmed as Sunday headliners for Rock en Seine 2026, marking their return to the French festival after a seven-year absence. The English rock legends will close the festival’s final day on 30 August 2026 at the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, with tickets for Sunday’s show going on sale this Wednesday, 17 September at 4pm UK time.
The announcement follows the band’s recent release of their fourteenth studio album, “Songs Of A Lost World,” in late 2024, with strong rumours suggesting a follow-up album is planned for 2026. Robert Smith will be joined by his current lineup including bassist Simon Gallup, drummer Jason Cooper, keyboardist Roger O’Donnell and guitarist Reeves Gabrels for what promises to be another expansive performance from the British rock titans.
Rock en Seine 2026 will run from 26-30 August, with the full festival lineup set to be announced shortly. The Cure’s last appearance at the festival was in 2019, making their return a highly anticipated addition to next year’s edition.
