UPDATE: Sean Paul has been confirmed as the ‘secret’ Saturday night John Peel headliner, though several other TBA slots remain throughout the weekend.
Glastonbury fans are speculating Diplo could play a secret set after the American DJ’s name quietly disappeared from the line-up poster, featured his name when first revealed back in March.
The Guardian reported Diplo would headline the John Peel stage on Saturday night. (pictured below) This was quickly corrected to replace Diplo with ‘TBA’, matching the official list.
We’ve contacted both Diplo’s representatives and Glastonbury but neither responded to requests to clarify if Diplo has dropped out of the festival for any reason.
The tour page of Diplo’s website continues to list an appearance at Glastonbury, alongside gigs in Denmark and Switzerland on the Thursday and Friday.
Aside from Saturday’s John Peel headliner, the full Glastonbury line-up contains other TBA slots throughout the festival. If Diplo is still appearing, as per the initial line-up announcement, he could take another TBA slot or potentially be a surprise guest during someone else’s set.
